Overview
The Autumn/Winter 2025 campaign for GCLO explores themes of self-introspection, personal evolution and the mentality of ongoing growth. The collection’s core idea "a work in progress" is expressed visually through motifs of deconstruction and reconstruction in the denim, paired with strong, resilient silhouettes that speak to overcoming adversity.
This campaign blends fashion and emotion, transforming the garments into metaphors for internal transformation.
Creative Approach
Using a mix of controlled movement, slow intentional pacing and close up textural shots, the film creates a tone that mirrors the campaign’s reflective spirit.
Visual Style
The campaign adopts a moody, introspective visual style built around warm, directional lighting and enclosed, textured environments. The overall look is intimate, still and quietly intense, reflecting the internal work and resilience at the core of the AW25 collection.
Why It Matters
This campaign marks a deeper narrative shift for GCLO. For me, it was an opportunity to slow things down and craft visuals that pair style with story.
