Held at the iconic Royal Festival Hall, the concert brought together 1,500+ children from across Lambeth for a vibrant, two-performance celebration of music and community.

Overview:
The 2025 edition of the Lambeth Music Service’s Primary Singing Programme marked the organisation’s most ambitious commercial offering yet. Transforming a long-standing educational showcase into a sustainable revenue-generating event. Held at the iconic Royal Festival Hall, the concert brought together 1,500+ children from across Lambeth for a vibrant, two-performance celebration of music and community.
Brief & Objectives:
I was commissioned to lead the video production for this year’s initiative, with the core goal of creating high-quality video products that could be sold as part of the event’s new merchandise strategy.
Key deliverables included:
- 4 tailored concert edits (one per designated section of the stage) for families to purchase, each prioritising visibility of their child’s school
- A fast turnaround of <7 days, including multi-cam syncing and integration of externally mixed audio
- A short 40-second social media trailer to promote the performance and highlight the energy of the event
Production Details:
- Directed a 7-camera setup for full coverage of both performances, plus rehearsal B-roll and audience cutaways
- Worked closely with LMS leadership and venue staff to ensure stage positioning aligned with the video strategy
- Delivered synchronized, multi-angle edits with a clear focus on each school's designated stage area
- Led post-production workflow with a remote editor to ensure tight delivery deadlines were met.
Why It Matters:
This project wasn’t just about filming a performance, it was about making the arts more sustainable while preserving the magic of children’s first major public music performance. By turning video content into a valued keepsake, the LMS team was able to generate critical revenue for future editions while still honouring the community spirit at the programme’s core.
Ongoing Relationship:
2025 marked my second consecutive year working with LMS, the most logistically ambitious yet. I look forward to continuing to support their creative mission and contribute to the growing legacy of this beautiful programme.
