This vibrant, mixed-media visual was created for UK rap group Goose’s track “Rock With You Freestyle”. This was a playful anthem that samples Rock With You by Michael Jackson. Leaning into that influence, I referenced key shots from MJ’s original music video and layered in a nostalgic 80s aesthetic through careful lighting, colour and styling.
Shot with a combination of tripod and handheld camera work, the video fuses digital footage with Super 8 film to add warmth, character and texture. The overall feel is fun, stylish and bouncy. Blending old school with a modern edge that complements the group’s charisma and energy.
